When Nature Calls

Animals, plants, rivers and trees
What have we done to these,
Which have inspired us and
given us life to eternity.
Cutting the trees
Killing the ansimals
Paoching them for our selfish needs

When I feel the zephyr
Caressing me
The touch of rain drops
Possessing me
The chirping of the birds
Singing their songs
I wonder it will last----How long

For its fading
Gently, like a child’s innocent sleep.
In a trance, In a dream.
The nymphs of nature
Are ringing their bells

Everything is vanishing
In front of our eyes
And yet we do not realize
And all is being lost
In the crimson skies

Look at the clouds
Huge phantoms in the sky
Which change as the wind blows,
Right before our eyes.

The nocturnal darkness
The flickering stars
The sun melting and
The clouds overcast

Through these creations
Learn to understand
The wonders of life
We are holding in our hands.

What kind of world are we
Presenting to our successors
Who will one day question us
For our cruelty on nature
They will not know what

Are the songs of the birds
Or the autumn trees
Or the honey bees
Because there will be no trees

We are presenting to them
A world of misery
A world of pain
In which even to live
Will be insane

So stop now my friends
For yet its not too late
Too late to hesitate
In rebuilding our world back
To never let these beautiful things
Vanish in the blue
Leaving us behind helpless
Without a clue
